welcome to the school of freekfly at jumptown (orange, ma) & skydive new england (lebanon, me)! our goal at freekfly is to help skydivers learn how to fly their bodies in more ways than just on their belly. we focus on everyone from people just getting started in the sport to those who have thousands of rw dives. it's never too late to learn how to fly your body!

our goal is to provide a service to any skydiver that wants to learn how to freefly and do it at a reasonable cost. since we did not open up this school to make money, but to teach freeflying to anyone and everyone, coach jumps are priced at a reasonable $50. that includes the slot for the student as well as the coach. all jumps will be filmed and students will be debriefed after every dive with the aid of the video. on some occasion we will include an outside video in order to aid in the learning process.

the school is headed up by brian buckland who started skydiving in lincoln, ri back in '95, and started freeflying not too long after that. at that time there were very few in new england who were experimenting with freeflying. today there are dozens of freeflyers all over the north east. one of the goals at our school is to help pass on the tips that we have learned over the years so that the new freeflyers don't make the same mistakes that we made when there were no coaches around to correct us.

also at the school we have coaching that is focused on sit flying or just heads up flying in general. those coaches are jeff agard, derek landry & pj jackson. keep your eyes open as you'll probably see their work in parachutist. availability will vary since we all have several other responsibilites other than on the dz.
